What are electronic patient recalls?
Just like the postcards most offices send, electronic patient recalls serve to remind patients it's time for them to make their next appointment, whether it be for their annual comprehensive exam, glaucoma follow up, or any other recall types you use.
Set it and forget it
With integrated recalls you can set when a patient should be notified for a recall while they're still in the office, then never worry about it again! The integration will take over and reach out to your patient when it's time for them to come back, either with a voice message to a home number or a text message to a mobile phone.

"When do recalls go out?"
Recalls always go out the first Sunday of every month. Which patients get the notifications depends on how recall dates are set in Eyefinity Practice Management.
Using the default setting notifications will go out to several recall intervals.
As a sample let's use notification date April 5th, 2020:

You will have the ability to control the recall schedule for your patients. If you know your patients will need recall reminders further in advance you can set more recalls, or if you know they'll only need one notification you can turn off any unnecessary ones.
